Description

The goalie trades would occur before the season to profit from Vegas and Dallas’ immediate issues - G depth and cap space, respectively - whereas the UFA-to-be forwards with salary retention would occur around TDL 2023. Regarding the destinations for Dadonov and Drouin, I used Detroit and Winnipeg as potential contenders/pretenders needing offensive wingers, but obviously any team willing to give similar assets would be welcome!

You need to add more to Drouin, like a first, if you expect to return future considerations. No one is giving up that much for him.

Drouin averages around 50 points per season and if he manages to stay healthy and thrives under MSL in a contract year context, he could very well fetch a top-64 pick @ 50% salary retention.

If he doesn’t redeem himself, his deal expires next June anyways, so an anecdotal move in the grand scheme of things.

Wings have no use for Dado over as Wings have good mix and alot of promising prospects

The forwards’ trades are anecdotal - potential TDL assets to wherever basically - I’m especially curious to see what Vegas and Dallas’ fans think of the goalie trade proposals.
