Nah, you can have Grant back, not Jones. Also takes a third a year to unload minimum.

Like my dearest colleague @GiggywithGibby has said, Jones isn’t really on the block and it’ll take at least a third to dump Bailey. I think something ideal for both sides is

Bailey's 44 points last season would have been third on the Ducks, so I think that he still has positive on-ice value; it's just his cap hit that's a problem. If the Islanders asked us for Max in return for Bailey and two thirds, I'd take that; otherwise, I like @LosPatos' idea.

Habs pass on this very fast
Unless you replace Kidney by Hoffman.
Because Habs have zero place under the cap.
That's one of the team's biggest weakness: cap space

this was assuming the make cap space by moving hoffman or anderson or etc.., everybody is in cap hell
