Don't think WPG would entertain this one...47 goals, 93 pts at a very reasonable cap hit. I wouldn't want to move him even for a big overpay.

Just used the baseline of Eichel trade which was a middle six proven forward, A level prospect, 1st and 2nd rd picks.

The Eichel trade isn't comparable in any way. Eichel was a seriously injured player that demanded a trade.

Kyle Connor makes less, plays more consistent, doesn't have a injury history, and yeah likes playing in Winnipeg so to compare that it is insane.

Eichel wanted out was knowledge even for people with zero hockey interest. All those factors drive the price down significantly.

For example like PLD right now, good luck trading that guy.
