OEL didnt get that much and he actually accomplished something at this point in the same position Chychrun's in now .
I mean line up their Rookie years straight on through then factor in OEL largely had to do it by himself with no run support and still accomplished more.
In the end ARZ tried for years to sell him before they hit the point where his value peaked and there was only 1 way to get what they required for him.
They took 12m in cap dumps and gave up a 20 goal scorer to get it

Chychrun's value seems like its in a similar position
I'm 100% sure its because he's always injured. Not enough to sit out the season
Just enough to be an issue for any Contender looking to go all in , they need someone they can rely on to be healthy.
Ever since the Hanzal Debacle teams are weary of Overpaying for injury prone players, they'll pay a lesser price for them no issue's but no more high end packages without strings.

Dont get me wrong Chychruns deffinately worth a 1st or two even if they're late 1st's from a team like WSH,TBL or PIT who often have later 1st round picks pretty much as a rule lol
Gostisbhere would be a smarter as he's just as bad defensively with just as much offensive upside and wont be your problem after next year
