Now that he's signed to a relatively low AAV, much easier to fit him under the cap for Vancouver.

Pearson+Dickinson for Dobson should do it or Myers for Dobson.

On a serious note, I wonder if Lou will look to make an addition with the cap left. Miller looks like a good option for whatever reason they wanted Kadri.

I 100% agree NYI wouldn’t trade Dobson for Miller but don’t say that Miller is a “mid” piece.

Oh I definitely Agree there but I’m referring to the *admittedly few* armchair gms I’ve seen where the trade is something like pearson+rathbone+2023 1st for Dobson and their reasoning is that the islanders get a good middle six forward and a future top 4 defenseman to replace a top pair right shot defenseman.
