No chance ARZ does that deal. DeAneglo/Strome are worth more than Price to them and it's not even close

I'm not a Habs fan but when I saw you dealt Price I just thought of the P.K. Subban backlash... I think the fans would burn the city down If price was moved.

I know, but the Subban fiasco has shown us that the Habs have the balls to do such a thing

Why did you consider that Price has a so low value? Is it because you hate him or the Habs, or simply because you like to feel superior to almost every hockey analysts that think the contrary of you about the value of Carey?

The impact Price would have in that market would be godsend. The kid is a cowboy, he belongs there. ARZ has an embarrassment of riches, they're stacked at the center position and the wings and the D is pretty good. That would be a deal to highly consider. There's no way i want Plekanec here next year. I prefer we buy him out and slightly over pay for B Boyle. And I'd Thornton less money but longer term 6-6.25 for 3 years. Price can carry a team on his back for long stretches, personally I think in 2 yrs ARZ will be the team to beat in the WC

I would go with your Thornton idea but he might become too much of a liability, so I kept it at 1 season.

Just play him 3d line where he faces less defensive matchups

Here's why I put him in the first line:

Nice piece! Here's what I did with Thornton. I pretty much gutted half the team and brought in some highend prospects that will play together in the farm team and eventually will make the transition to the big club together when certain contracts expire (Thorntons being one of them) https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/331228
