          Future considerations

After the 2023 season, the Habs will trade the Carey Price's contract to the Hawks. After, the Hawks will byout the Price's contract because he will be healty for playing once again...

After, He will sign a one year contract (1,5M) with the Canucks or with the Kraken as a 2nd goalie. He will leed the team to a playoffs spot, but they will be elleminated in the 1st round.

In the summer of 2024, he will return to Montreal for a one year deal ($1 650 000) as a 2nd goalie. But in the playoffs, he will take the place of Jarry, and they will lead them to the Cup.

Seems a little light for Chicago to take on 3 years of 9+ mil of dead cap and 21 mil in cash. Cost Calgary a 1st for Montreal to take on one year of Monahan at 3 mil less.

No return for Crosby? Pittsburgh just giving him to Montreal. Lesser players returned 1st and top prospects half retained.

If this is 2024-25 i like our prospects over some of the new and former players.
While i like PLD on Wing it makes sense putting someone like Evans on Wing has little upside vs trading him while promoting AHL players.

          Slappy-Suzuki-Caufield
          PLD-Bedard-Dach
          Perron-Crosby-Anderson
          Ylonen-Mysak-Gallagher
          Monahan

          Ghule-Barron
          Harris-Klingberg
          Xhekaj-Savard
          Eddy

          Matheson will be long gone
he was only brought in because he had a smaller cap and term despite being a lesser player
He'll be moved the minute anyone offers a decent package as our LD is way to overloaded.
Even with all those young players in we're ignoring Norlinder,Struble,Trudeau,Hutson and Engstrom all on LD

Hughes was very careful to avoid that question
Bergavin outright said he didnt expect Weber to play again

          Price might need another year
But i dont think he'll outright retire
Its important to note Hughes said he Could not Will Miss the Season
That means Price is still trying for a come back
That said Bishop went through a similar situation before finally giving up

Pierre-Luc Dubois and John Klingberg don't sign that cheaply with Montreal.

And Sid Crosby waiving for Montreal is never going to happen. And this still isn't a cup team nor the best team in the east.
