He's a fine player, but I wouldn't give him a penny over 2m on a bridge deal, as he's still pretty unproven. Even then, he's not a fit in Detroit. We're all set.

Sandin hasn't done enough to earn 4 mil AAV. He'll likely be worth this in a couple of years. Detroit isn't a fit for Sandin because we have Edvinsson, Johansson, Wallinder, Viro and Sebrango coming at LD. I'm not saying they'll all pan out. But I think it's safe to say at least 2 of them will.

Are you guys resigning Gagner 4C, just curious?

It doesn't look like it. We're going to go with Rasmussen at 4C or Veleno. I prefer Ras on the wing. He can use his size more and he has good hands. Gagner had an excellent season i thought. He can do so many things and he provided some good leadership for the young guys. But we have so many forwards now that I can't see a spot for him here. He'd be a good, cheap signing for any team.
