Value is there but I don't think the Habs will trade Anderson, at least not this year

They'd probably want Walker Duehr too

Better to go with someone Cheaper who can stay Healthy like Craig Smith, Joel Armia, Garnet Hathaway or Sam Carrick OR Go Younger like Michael McCarron, Marc McLaughlin, Mark Kastelic, Nathan Bastian, Brett Leason, Julien Gauthier or simply Walker Duehr and Groom them to be more like Josh Anderson. Likely won't cost us Lucic or a 1st either

No problem move Toffoli after this year, he'll only have 1 year left on his contract and Coronato will replace him in the lineup then.

For this year I'd make the lines like so:

Huberdeau - Lindholm - Anderson
Mangiapane - Kadri - Coleman
Pelletier - Backlund - Toffoli
Rooney/Dube - Ruzicka - Lewis/Dueher

Anderson and Coleman add some size grit and physicality to the top two lines. Anderson provides a net front presence for the first line and Coleman can be the defensive conscience of the 2nd line. Toffoli was a good fit with Caufield in Montreal he should be good for Pelletier too while Backlund handles most of the defensive responsibilities allowing the other two to concentrate more on offense.

Would be a good look for Calgary.
