I’m not even sure this is a good deal for Nashville. Hayton hasn’t proven anything in Arizona and the only real reason to make this deal is if you want a slighter younger prospect. But I don’t c any benefit to this deal tbh.

Idk. I think he has a higher ceiling than Tolvanen, and, more importantly, I think that the Preds coaches are fed up with Tolvanen. He doesn’t get anywhere near the ice time of most players, and his stats reflect that. Both players (I think) need a fresh start.

NSH isn’t adding a 2nd here. I could see him getting a fresh start somewhere, but I’m happy keeping Tolvanen.

If the Preds were to make this deal, what do you think a trade would look like?

It’s pretty much a 1 for 1 in my eyes if anything, but I think they’ll give Tolvanen another year. And I prefer Tolvanen to Hayton from what I’ve seen.
