Dark-horse playoff contender in the Metropolitan.

Yeah they have too much talent to be in the Bedard sweepstakes, but are they good enough to make the playoffs. They're not going to have any trouble scoring but are they going to be able to play a better defensive game. It's going to be very interesting to watch, which rookies will step up and who is going to struggle. Roslovic, Johnson, Sillinger, Marchenko, Chinakhov, Boqvist, Peeke, Blankenburg and maybe Jiricek will all be young guys that can take another step. Should be one of the youngest if not the youngest team in the league again.

On the bright side, if this season just goes off the rails for whatever reason... I wouldn't mind adding Bedard to that young core..

What I really want to see, is Johnny and Laine clicking... that has to be the quirkiest odd-ball superstar combo in the League. Really hoping they have chemistry, cause that could be super fun.

Wouldn’t be encouraging for a future with JG if things go that poorly with him. Even if the consolation would be Bedard…

True.. I'm not expecting it, I think it's more likely that this team will surprise the "experts" rather then it being in the Bedard sweepstakes. But then again you never know, injuries can really derail a season for everyone.
