This isn't a trade I would make because I'm high on Sean Durzi, but I can certainly see the rationale for it and I wouldn't be shocked if it happened. Harley certainly has the size we're looking for on the back end.

It's kind of a win win if things fall apart for Durzi and LA.

Question is if he has the talent necessary to put it all together. If we were talking about Spence this would make sense to me — I think LAK should keep Durzi tbh.

I would too. It's more if contract talks fall apart.

It’s a fair idea tbh. I just think Durzi is going to be more important to LAK’s defense in the long run then anyone else currently on the roster. At least on the right side.

I love Doughty, but I’ll be surprised if he stays healthy enough to finish his contract. I hope he does tho!!!

Honestly the kings might be better off finding a buy low candidate to shore up the left side. Logan Stanley kind of reminds me of Jamie Oleksiak during his first stint in Dallas. Someone to look out for imo.

That's a surprising thing to say, and seems very recency-biased.

Doughty has been nothing if not durable for the entirety of his time in the NHL outside of 2021-2022, and it's not like he plays a particularly punishing style of hockey. Last year was the abnormality, and it would be much more surprising if he continued an unhealthy streak rather than coming back to his 82-game Ironman status for the rest of his contract.

At least, in my opinion.

I get what ur saying. I just worry that given his age he will break down in the next few years. I got nothing against the guy, but I’m always very nervous with guys his age. Especially when they’ve played big minutes for a long time.

When it comes to older players im always cautious. That’s all. Didn’t mean to be a dick about it.

Didn't think you were a dick at all. Just commenting on the recency bias. Nothing more. No worries man.
