Horrid trade for Flyers for one year of Nylander Oh, the "old leadership" value in a trade. Gotta think Arizona doesn't want Murray any more than you do

Moore won’t leave LA. The Sens and Zub are already talking about and extension.

And you know this how? Dubas moved 13 spots back to dump 3 years of Mrazek. I think Buffalo would jump all over that if he offered it to them, I know the Leafs would have when they were in their own rebuild. The more 1st round picks the better, and it maybe allows you to move up in the first round if your more interested in quality over quantity.

If he was a RHD then Yes I could see the Sabres considering this, but adding Muzzin would take ice time away from the kids they are trying to develop. Here is the Sabres LHD depth:

Dahlin (although he may switch to RD)
Power
Samuelsson
Bryson
Pilut
Johnson

at this point in the rebuild it is more important for the Sabres to figure out what they have in these players and develop the ones they see potential in. Muzzin will take their ice time away which will stunt their growth. Its just not worth it.

@CapFriendlysFinest
"lowest of the picks of the 2nd round" does this mean closest to first or closest to the third.
If the latter, Buffalo would be foolish to pass on that trade.
If the former, I think Buffalo would pass on it.
If the Leafs lost the cup in a later round and the Flyers finished last, the Sabres would only be moving up a few spots.
