Not positive, but i thought i heard somewhere that Gardiner was good to go to start the season so i doubt he is LTIR eligible

He hasn’t taken the physical at the start of training camp yet, let’s talk next week…

Let’s say he is healthy - that’s down to two options outside of a
Trade. Either way, buyout isn’t possible.

Can't buyout Gardiner, he isn't healthy after hurting himself in DBL. It's also long past the window.

Tbh i think we could go without Stepan just to get Drury regular playtime. Best case scenario if we sign him, he rotates with Marty and Drury stays the 4C but Rod is probably still hell bent on Martinook playing.
