Sandin Qualifying Offer at One Year Maybe

Created by: PhillyDip123
Team: 2022-23 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 21, 2022
Published: Sep. 21, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I guess we'll see who gets moved whenever Liljegren and Engvall come back.

Leafs might have the cheapest LW depth in the league if Kerfoot gets traded.

The 'taxi squad' was just there to say who I think may have a chance to see some minutes.

Isn't Sandin QO, 10% higher than last year?,,,,that 90,000 more. Leafs really can't be in the position of hoping to move 3.8m in cap when Engvall and Liljgren. Gotta do it pre season.

Or they run a 20 man roster and acrue cap space. They have done it a lot over the past 2 seasons and will do so again. Pridham knows how to make it work. He keeps doing it and still every year no one believes it's possible.

I went off of the QO calculator

I've got twitter notifications on Twitter for whenever they do make a trade. I'm curious who moves because it seems like the locker room is pretty tight around all of the moveable pieces.

Trouble with Leafs (and so many teams), is that "stars" who make big money aren't be traded, certainly without the same cap coming back. And trading low cap players really don't help much as they have to be replaced in the lineup with players who also don't make that much.

I still say, the Leafs should have traded Nylander in June, and then they would have cap to fill a couple of holes. Of course I'll never understand the Murray trade. After getting rid of 3.8, m Mrzarek, surely there were better values out there instead of 4.7m Murray.

2 years 1.4m is what I would stay at

As its a good deal and by the time hes up Serevalli believes cap will be between 90-93mill.
