lol, oh man. Battling "the vast majority" eh? oh buddy, you are not the vast majority.
Like, this has been fun but if you're gonna start saying things like that and that "detroit has improved a lot" or think that comparing a team that just had 115 points and hasnt picked in the 1st round for 2 years' prospect pool to the wings then we're done here. You're so far gone it's hopless. Enjoy your rebuild, you're gonna have to enjoy it with how much longer it's gonna take.

Oh buddy, you are the CF troll known all over this site. The vast majority is every single other account that constantly wonders how you believe video games translate to real life.

You double back when you don’t have an argument, and fail to see any other view point. Notice how I ranked the teams by what I estimate they finish. I acknowledged where the Wings would be, as well as their short comings. You literally discussed your prospect pool being among the best, then double back with an excuse why what you previously stated was incorrect. Obviously the Leafs have a lesser prospect pool, they pick from 20-30 every year. I never compared them without the basis you created. Move the goal posts a bit more. Also, maybe you could acknowledge just once that the Leafs simply haven’t gotten it done.

The wings are not a threat to win it this year, any one who knows the game understands that. Same with next season. I never said they were although you are really trying to make it seem that way.

But hey thanks! I will enjoy the rebuild, and I hope you enjoy the success in the regular season, art Ross trophies, individual awards. I’m really hoping to see that second round trip! Hurry up though, in about 3 years Detroit might be your first round opponent 😁

Yeah, people round here love to call someone who disagrees with them a troll, it's pretty funny. I did notice how you ranked the teams and gave it all the consideration it deserved with the logic you presented. You've got some insane rose coloured glasses on about your rebuild and it's gonna be real fun to see you move them goal posts when it slithers along at half speed because of these dumb signings

My apologies, meant homer*. You don't really post the crazy 7-1 trades. Just the overvalue / undervalue in explanations. I apologize for that. See, once again acknowledgement. Rose colored glasses would be assuming this summer was the end of the Wings being bad and all of a sudden competing. Nope, still stating facts that Detroit is better this year than last year. No bad contracts (which you say is wrong because 2 years of 4.75M 33yo Chiarot is worse than Muzzin apparently), high end prospects (argue all you want but you are in the minority), and cap space. The bottom 4 have improved, the top 4 have stood pat, or slightly upgrade/downgraded depending on how new additions play.

I will be standing pat and I would love to come back to this post in 2-3 years time, when Detroit is knocking at the door. Hopefully you eventually do the same and acknowledge that the Leafs blew it when Buffalo, Ottawa, and Detroit all pass you by. Until then, like I said, all the best. I hope one of these President Trophy like seasons leads to some post season success.

Cheers!

Right because a guy who was drafted 39th overall, Is worth the 4th overall pick and a potential top 10 pick. let's not get carried away here.

“A guy who was drafted 39th overall “ lmao that’s one way to put it. How about a 23 year old superstar who happens to be one of the best wingers in the NHL

Gee basically in his 2nd full season he puts up 79 points, And all of a sudden he's one of the best wingers in the NHL. Like i said let's not get carried away here. Let's see if he can put up this kind production on a yearly basis.

79 points in 74 games, you forgot to mention that. 41 goals too!
