Description

I moved Kubalik up to the 3rd line because he has been so good in the preseason. He scored another goal last night and had lots of looks at the net all game long. And, yeah, Olli Maata got moved to the booth. If my roster looks a little wonky it's because I want Zadina on a line with Vrana or I at least want to see what that looks like on the ice. It feels wrong putting Ras on the 4th line but there are only so many spots available. Also I have NED significantly ahead of Husso for the "starting" goalie. LGRW!

The middle 6 could have lots of different looks. There is no doubt they will probably play around with it. No way maatta isn't on the ice every night.

Has Maata been bad? Can't see Oesterle getting in over Maata.

Is Copp playing 2C and who's his wingers?

Yes, Olli Maata has been bad. He looks lost out there. Hesitant on moving the puck. Seems like he’s unsure of where to play the puck. Slow. Osterle can be scrambly at times but at least he has confidence and brings the energy. Also it’s Lindstrom who slots in instead of Maata and I think he’s just better at doing the same things Maata wants to do.
