Reaves will play however much Gallant has earmarked for him, but all indications are that it will be part-time. Kostin would be the 13th forward.

Not particularly. He’s seems to be earning a deal. But this move seems like more Gauthier. Some guys just aren’t worth giving so many chances or let other teams burn those chances till he’s bottom 6 quality.. sort of like Vesey today..

Trying to find a higher skill level than typically found on the 4th line, so can cause disruption to D. It is similar to Gaut and if he committed to a 4th line role he could be valuable. Kostin appears to have the physical skills and maybe could slide into the 4th line. Ultimately they have issues and it will take someone who is motivated, so maybe getting dropped by a team could propel him to accept the role. I am not sold on this, it is a what-if.

Unlikely the way Vesey has played, and I will believe Reaves plays part-time when I see it. He brings everything Turk wants and also protects the kids. He's playing the majority of games.

Yes, a likely outcome. Reaves will probably have some reduction if for nothing except to keep him fresh for the playoffs
