Some crunch thoughts:
- Crozier wasn't exposed to too big of a role on debut, but he looked like he belonged
- Thompson has seen clear progression over the course of the season
- Perhaps only Edmonds has come further, and oh my if his scoring translates to the NHL then watch out
- Love moose, but I want to see Alnefelt next year

Not surprising, considering how ineffective he was at times and his eventual assignment on the 4th line.
They have a lot of work to do to get back to a tournament level team.



He will definitely get as much time and load as he wants next year. Especially with Adam Nightingale behind the bench. They absolutely have to find some other talent for him to play with though. He's going to carry the entire team every night even with guys like Russell and Dorwart having good freshman seasons.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Crozier is on the top pairing tonight. Whether that actually means more ice-time or not we'll see.

Cernak is the best comp on the team.

Standing up forwards at the blue line, strong around the net and boards, not afraid to throw a hit. And he has an underated shot and ability to skate with the puck (has been running PP2 since Raddysh was called up).

I think he's a perfect 3LD for us.

The Frozen Four Final was the most exciting hockey game I have seen in person. Unmatched.

Even though Minnesota lost, Kurth played a good game. He is only playing limited minutes, but if he can translate that up as he gets a bigger role, he'll be worth keeping an eye on.

Goncalves/Ryfors/Barre-Boulet has become the Crunch's top line down the stretch.

I do not say it lightly that they're the best line the team has had since Katchouk/Somppi/Raddysh in 2021.

Game 3 of the Crunch's first round tonight.

Dumont got himself suspended for two games last time out.
Surprisingly, I see Max Cajkovic is getting the nod tonight. Very interesting choice to say the least.

Crunch rallied back scoring 3 in a row to send them to OT in a winner takes all Game 5.

Jack Thompson delay of game towards the end of 1OT results in Rochester goal.

I'm sad.

Will have the end of season prospect pool assessment up in the next day or two.

Ryfors is returning to the SHL.

Cannot argue that Eyssimont is a safer choice, but I still wish Ryfors was given a chance in the NHL.

Looks like he's going to return to play another year in the QMJHL.

its a shame, I was really rooting for him and the poor guys house just burned down last month too. Hopefully he gets a chance with another team

I very much am, even though I don't think he will ever be a bona fide NHLer.
I can easily envision him being the Crunch's captain though once Dumont leaves.
