Man, I would love Carlo, but that is not enough. The only value is really Rathbone. However, I would add Horvat and package them to Boston since their core is ageing rapidly.
Then, I would go and acquire Kerfoot or Dvorak
Could see Montour trade going through but take out 5th

I would do that. Just one of our forwards needs to go. Thought Horvat would be wiser since Garland is cost controlled and has grit and great analytics. Horvat is nice, but would underperform if we give him less minutes due to more balanced team. Also, I have no intention of paying Horvat more than 6.75 million-7 million. If he wants more, trade him. The last thing we need is to be paying 22 million for our centre core and in the future, 25-26 million when Pettersson gets a raise. Instead, get a guy like Kerfoot who can pitch in about 35-45 points a year for the price of a 3rd

2 cap dumps and a bottom half of the roster D man. Lol.

Pearson and Myers have zero value to Boston. Negative value actually as Boston has some pretty rough cap issues next year to begin with. Rathbone is smallish puck moving d man. B’s have Grizz, don’t need another. Boston has 5 LD under contract next year as it is. Need to dump 2. Don’t need to add more.

Unless Elias is on the table you have no shot at Carlo. It’s that simple.

Horvat is a UFA, B’s can just sign him themselves. Garland is of little interest. Lysell is Garland and he steps in the lineup next year.

The only way Boston even considers moving Carlo is for a top 6 center 22-25 years of age.

So unless you are willing to to discuss Elias you can forget about Carlo.

Pearson and Myers are actually NHL players. Reilly and Foligno are not

The NHL literally has a salary cap right now, which is why he’s on waivers.

Tell me right now. Is Mike Reilly on the Boston Bruins NHL roster right now?

Carlo is no Pettersson, so please stop. Boston wants to contend and needs players for right now. That is why you should trade for Horvat and give him an extension. And, WHO CARES IF RATHBONE IS SMALLISH, CALE MAKAR IS SMALL AND HE JUST WON NORRIS. ENOUGH WITH THE CRAP ABOUT SMALLISH DEFENSEMAN. CAN'T WAIT FOR RATHBONE TO BE A TOP 4 GUY
