Forwards 9/10

This is almost as good as it gets. They are weak down middle but otherwise it is worldclass. Kaprizov, Kucherov, Panarin makes it water in my mouth. They will be so much fun to have together. You have the St Louis Blues line aswell and a player like Tarasenko there. Nichuschkin will be amazing on the pk. Ovi will be old here but the shot is still there. Also he has the chemistry with Kuznetsov. He will always be a huge threat with his lethal one timer. Svechnikov will bring important scoring depth here. The wingers that Russia has is crazy. Waaaaaay better then any other team. It's like not even fair man.

Defense 5/10

This is mediocre as hell. Provorov has nice potential and should have developed into a solid 2-way d man as should Sergachev have done. They will be a good pairing that im fine with but it is still worse then what many other teams will have. After that you have decent shutdown defensemen but not any more then that. The mediocre D is a huge weakness for Russia. It does not look good here at all. Gavrikov is nice but can players like him and Zadorov really contain McDavid and MacKinnon?

Goalies 11/10

Honestly it is not even fun here. They have 3 of the best 7 goalies in the whole league. Both Vasi and Igor are absolute HOF worthy worldclass talent. Whoever they'll roll with he will be just incredible in net. If both of them goes down you have Sorokin who is also world class talent and will do really well in net aswell.

Overall 8/10

The team is good and could maybe make it to the finals if Vasi or Igor stands on his head. Otherwise they will be knocked out in the semi finals. That D is not looking so strong which could be their downfall. Otherwise the forwards looks amazing and will be alot of fun to watch and they have such amazing goaltenders. They will for sure not win tho.

defence isn't great but its not like they haven't gone up against the top players in the world before. top that with the best goalies in the world. thin in the middle but im sure one of those wingers can play centre.
