Thoughts on the trade with SJS?

Meier's stock may have decreased due to his slow start to the season (1pt in 5gp) so it could be a good opportunity to make the team better in the short term while sacrificing some futures. Figured the 2025 1st round pick will be more valuable than the 2023/2024 picks since the team is geared to be in win-now mode and those picks will likely be final 4 picks at earliest.

Even if Meier's stock has dropped (it is still only 5 games into the season and the sharks as a whole are atrocious) he is an RFA, the Sharks aren't going to sell low on him. Sharks are going to look for a 2023 1st + prospects, even if the picks are going to be later because this is a deep draft and the Sharks need prospects now

The previous CAR ACGM giving up Necas was way too much for Meier, but this is way too little
