Description

Feel free to criticize the trades but it seems like the Leafs can lean into trading for a player with term ( FWD ) and then get a rental defenceman ( I have a feeling about Shattenkirk IDK why ) both trades would cost a fortune though this is just a weird mock-up definitely not what each player is worth the Leafs need a better bottom 6 identity and I'm surprised Brian Boyle is still available considering how well he's played at his age and he is familiar with ZAR in his time with Pittsburgh so having him play on the 4th with him could be very nice? tell me what you think?

I don't get the Konecny trade. He's not going to have a presence in the locker room, nor is he going to change how Keefe chooses to deploy his lines and the tasks he assigns to them if that's what you mean by a better bottom 6 identity.

Just a hope that Muzzin is out for the whole season.....and next. Why do Leaf fans continue to trade Simmons. His salary whether in the NHL or AHL doesn't affect the cap at all.
Leafs can't afford Konecky who is a right winger for two full seasons , and really why would they want to? A big overpay. Don't like Holl, you wouldn't like Shattenkirk playing defence
