With Couturier out 3-4 months I feel like a horvat add could make sense. If Vancouver is willing to move him that is, VAN fans what would you want in return? PHI fans what would you give up? It would likely be a pure rental based on PHIs current C situation without injuries.

Philly shouldn't be trading prospects or picks for players.

Even tho they have started the season really well they most likely won't make the playoffs.

I doubt that they would be giving up the assets for Horvat as a rental though, but I could see them adding if they are in a playoff spot or close in February.

I agree. But it’s Philly and they aren’t necessarily known to make the best decisions.
