Doesn't make any sense for the Canucks. If they trade Bo it's to get younger not older lol

As a NYR fan.
NYR don't need Chychrun.
Don't want Kane or Horvat.
They all can be so kind and play somewhere else than NYR.

Why would the Rangers not even want Kane?

Well we have Panarin, sort of the same type of players to start with. Some NYR fans probably want Kane. But I am not one of those.

Othmann isn't available for a trade, period and especially not for a rental. Trocheck is the long term 2C and rather have him than Horvat any day. Goodrow isn't going anywhere, so 3 for 3....NOPE from the Rangers.

Yeah okay. The way I see it, the Rangers would have an absolutely bonkers first line that probably could score at will.
Don't really care for the Horvat trade though.

Who do you think made Panarin into the player he is today? smile Those two were magic on a line together and created fits for the opposite team...there's no reason why the Rangers wouldn't want Kane on a line with Panarin again other then the price to acquire him. Not to mention they remain good friends. Chemistry is everything in hockey and proven chemistry means a lot.

Its ALL about the price. Othmann and Cuylee are off limits, as are Kakko, Laffy, Schneider and Miller. If the Hawks can take players OTHER THAN these, maybe a deal can be had. If they want any of these players, NO THANKS, trade Kane elsewhere.

Kane and the Hawks are in control as every team will make space to make an add like Kane, but without a very good prospect included, I doubt the Rangers will see Kane. You just named all their very good prospects so you're out of luck. Let's hope KK learns to put up points by the time the playoffs come!

Not worried about KK at all, and happy not to overpay for a Kane rental.

I would be a little worried if I was a rangers fan. Being scratched last playoff run, 3 points in 10 games this season, 18 points in 43 games last season, 5 points in 19 playoff games last year....wreaks of a middle 6 complimentary winger...even Dach is outplaying him and Dach has been frustrating to watch. KK is only 21 so hopefully he turns into what he was projected as in the next couple seasons as I had him rated much higher then Dach predraft, but not sure if this is NYR not developing him well or he's struggling to transition to the NHL.

I guess you are not watching him play…the guy is a possession beast. The points will come…but even if they don’t, what he’s doing possession wise to help his line mates should really pay dividends…FWIW, Zib and Kreider haven’t played with a play driver like Kakko for quite some time…once they get in sync, watch out!

I agree, he's strong on the puck and defensively strong....I mentioned that earlier, but ultimately he needs to put up points otherwise he's a middle 6 winger and not a top 6 line driver he was highly touted as being.

I don't think he'll ever be an elite point producer, but by no means does that mean he can't be a key cog in a very good or even championship team. And where he ends up fitting- top line/top 6/mid 6, etc...that all remains to be seen. He is fitting well with the top line right now- but Zibs and Kreider have yet to develop the 5X5 chemistry with him. Really is no reason why that shouldn't develop- I mean the things Kakko does along the boards and in possession...who wouldn't want him as a line mate? And hey- I'm not predicting a breakout as a mega point producer... but as his confidence grows- and you can see that happening- sky could be the limit. We'll see- that's what the games are for!

The kid is only 21. During his first 3 seasons, he had a few injuries plus two seasons were shortened/compacted by a pandemic. Why is that especially important to him? Because he is a type 1 diabetic and had to be extremely wary of Covid. Last playoffs his maturity started to show and its carrying over to this season. The kid is a legit top 6 winger, simple as that, and in the next few season, his numbers will show that, plus he will be a very good 200 foot player and possession driver. He isn't going anywhere.
