1) No. He's ours, and we're not trading him.

2) The Leafs acquire arguably the best LW'er in the NHL and then decided that they'll play him at RW and on the 2nd line to boot. 🙄 🤷‍♂️

While Kaprizov is fully capable of and he honestly prefers to play that side, when a player is the best of his current position in the entire league... you play him there. Kaprizov is Toronto's 1LW alongside Matthews the second he's acquired in this scenario.

Oofda.

I agree 100%! But you know in Toronto people want to trade Marner - As a Leafs fan I am not so sure - I am just spit balling what would be a fair return in this sort of scenario. Kaprizov, Kucherov, Panarin, Huberdeau came to my mind as the best playmaking wingers. Only Kaprizov and Marner are on the same timeline though.

You don't really trade a player like Kaprizov.

"This player I no longer want on my team is obviously traded against your team's best player". Classic!

I have stated that I'm all for trading Marner, but not in a one for one deal. Moving a star winger for another star winger doesn't really make and sense. If you want yo trade marner for and someone equal in talent than it should be for a stud Right shot D man.

My gosh leafs fans are delusional. Wild aren't trading kaprizov one for one for marner. Kaprizov is going nowhere, you are beyond dreaming. To think wild would trade their franchise player is such a fantasy

Kaprizov is way way better. Not even eichel, A C got A franchise player. Big difference is marner is also a free agent coming up
