I would love if we did this, but I doubt VAN would retain any salary.

Definitely wouldn't be retaining salary on Boeser, but would do the trade without it.

Boeser has been average middle 6 wing the past 3 seasons, giving up a 1st for him would be a disaster. He’d be the isles 5th or 6th best forward.

It'll be the 32nd pick in the draft anyway. Boeser is a good young forward who has plenty of potential and a change of scenery will do him well.

Lol the isles are not even a lock to make the playoffs. Boeser isn’t young, he turns 26 soon. He’s made of glass and his finishing ability has been average over the past 3 years. You don’t give a 1st for a middle 6 winger. Isles have enough of those

I agree, no issue with giving up a 1st for Boeser. Salary to VAN will be the issue here. And I love the enthusiasm about the 32nd pick smile

exactly he's young. Vancouver has been in a horrible state as of late and as a young adult like him, a move would do wonders. isles have talent and are playing in a more offensive style with the new coach. Boeser would excel with nelson or barzal.

26 is not young. Only has 1 or 2 prime years left. Boeser plays with Elias pettersson most of the time, whether that’s on the PP or 5v5, he’s better than any forward isles have.

Boeser cannot score at 5v5, He’s worth a 6th rd pick at best.
