Zero chance of Winnipeg accepting that for their best winger.

LOL last I checked Mitts is outscoring Connor this year.

Plus a high-end prospect.

Oh yeah and this is 2 years away when WPG will be in a tear-down and KC nearing the end of his contract.

LOL wow Mittlestadt has one more point than Connor.

And yeah i'm sure that Connor is just dying to go to Buffalo. I bet he comes home to Detroit long before Buffalo.

And he still garners more than what was offered here.
Josh Morrissey is outproducing Power in points, does that mean he’s better or has more value? What a piss poor assessment of Connor!

Well first of all I didn't offer mitts for connor. I offered mitts and a recent 14th OA pick.

Eichel got traded for a similar package, except we also got a first round pick. A first round pick that was supposed to be very low.

You'll say Eichel was injured and wanted out and we had no leverage and all that. But he was younger and had 5-6 years left on his deal too.

Anyway, idc, this is make-believe 2 years down the road. I will add Ostlund or somebody to my next Connor trade.

Connor wouldn't have a choice.

And the Sabres will be a powerhouse in 2 years. Of course he'd want to go there!

The argument you made was that Mitts was outproducing Connor which is a terrible take and valuation. That was my point.
Yes, Eichel was injured and needed a surgery never done on a hockey player. He also had one hell of a cap hit that very few teams could absorb. If Eichel had Connors cap hit the return would have been better as more teams could have entered the sweepstakes upping the bids.
All I’m saying is the offer above gets beaten easily whether now or in 2 years
