I really don’t think trading Nemec is a good idea. We have plenty of other solid D prospects with great potential, Muk, Casey, Vilen, Okhotiyuk, Walsh, Bahl.. I’d offer any one of those before I offer Nemec.

Demko isn't worth Nemec. No goalie has ever gotten that kind of return in a trade and I don't see that ending any time soon

I agree, especially if you want the Devils to take a more longer-term view in becoming / remaining competitive.
This just made for an interesting AGM is all.

Just to say, I think the trade would require a big add to go along with any of their other prospects at D for the Canucks to let go of Demko without getting Nemec in return.
Probably something including Holtz.

I get the vision but I don’t think it’s smart to trade that much for a goalie
