I've been against this trade for the Devils, but if they keep playing the way they have been that pick is gonna be mid to late 20s. I really like Holtz a lot, but if Meier's extension is gonna be reasonable I think it has to be considered. The question marks are cap space and whether or not they allow Holtz to prove himself before the deadline.

Muzzin is likely done for the season, Yeah like the Leafs are giving up Knies for Ferraro and Reimer.

Don't think SJ will bait-n-switch trade someone they just extended, so something about the deal would need to be tweaked. Maybe 2024 1st instead of 2023 assuming NJ is going to be even better by then
