Honestly I dont know why Keefe doesnt do

Engvall-Kampf-Jarnkrok like to me that is basically the second coming of Engvall-Kampf-Mikheyev which was a solid 3rd line for us last year.

4th line can then be something like ZAR-Malgin-Simmonds or maybe u try and move Malgin and bring up Gaudette for a more feisty 4th line

But luckily thanks to Kubel claim Toronto can now go after someone without dumping a contract (well unless its for a Dman)

It's amazing how many players the Leafs lose to waivers. More than any team by far.

This makes the most sense to me as well. Kampf has been too good in a shutdown role to be playing 4th line minutes. I'd be more interested in Holmberg and/or Steeves getting some minutes over Malgin at C and Simmonds on RW - I just think they're faster and bring out more of an 'energy fourth line' we've been looking for.

I loved watching Kerfoot play in the playoffs, but I'm at a bit of a loss as to where he belongs if Keefe ever plays Robertson with the top 6 (he doesn't belong in the bottom 6). Perhaps Robertson gets sent down to the minors to cook some more.

If Muzzin is going to retire I would interested in a physical but responsible third pairing guy over Holl, kinda like Bogosian or Lyubushkin.

Malgin has impressed me in some shifts this year and honestly I feel he should get minutes. As man when he dangles he really dangles. Holmberg/Steeves along with Robertson should just stay with the Marlies and develop as Keefe seems to not want to play these guys often and its a waste to just put them in the pressbox.

As for Dman I would rather go find a top 4 D to play with Rielly and put Brodie as the second pair and Liligren back with Giordano.

Kampf isn't a third line centre. He is best placed as a good checking 4th line c. He managed in the three c slot and frankly it may be a bit of semantics.

But the point is the other bottom line if Kampf is one of them should be more offensive.

So it should not have ZAR and Simmonds on it. One is fine.
