That would be a really really bad move for Ottawa

They need to stop playing Zaitsev, they don't need to trade him and totally waste a 1st and a 2nd round pick in the process. Trading valuable picks is absolutely HORRIFIC for a budget team, lowers their chance to become competitive in the future

Send Zaitsev to Belleville (like they did for Del Zotto last season) and BUY HIM OUT in the offseason (only cost 1.67 M$ spread over 2 years)

But the problem is not even that. I think everyone understands by now that coaching is not the right one
