Kid line looked really good, guess they should stay together no matter what. Vesey has been playing well and if he can keep it up, that would help keep the kid line together. And I was really happy to see Gauthier finally cash one in. He works hard and deserves to get rewarded once in a while. If he ever figures out how to finish, he could be a real force.

I wouldn't use us as a measuring stick, we give up 8 goals all the time

They’re actually not that bad. A bad game against BUF and a not great game again BOS. The rest of the games in the recent weeks has been rather solid. Considering you’re missing 1/2 the top 9, DET has been decent. If healthy, probably playoff team imo

Just as I’ve been saying not to panic, I will say not to get too thrilled because of 1 game…but the way the team looked without Lindgren and Chytl….really does show how important those guys are.

For now, best thing NYR can do is continue to get healthy….and if possible keep the lineup set like last night. Health and continuity should really help the team and should help in getting a good read on guys like Krav, Blais, and Hajek.
