Why would the blues trade their top 10 starter and best player rn, for a career backup who had 2 good years got the bag and now is the worst goalie in the league???
Make it make sense
Unless EDM is adding the next 5 Firsts onto Campbell no one is taking his contract

The Blues want him. Don't go strictly by his numbers this season, Binnington has played pretty well. The team in front of him has betrayed him way too often.

Compared to taking Foegele and Campbell, he is. To think the Blues would trade him to take on a lesser goalie AND extra cap for a player they don't need is beyond absurd. Binnington has had his tough times, but he has still been good a lot more often than not.
