Description

This trade covers 2 big needs, hopefully hometown boy Parayko would waive NTC. Depending on how long Kane is out this would need some cap gymnastics. Trading Foegele could cover part of that. Yes parayko will decline but imo this trade will be worth it for 3/4 years.

Hence why I mentioned cap gymnastics and trading Foegele. Moving his contract and running a 20 man roster should work

He hasn’t been great this year but is a solid player and will hopefully bounce back given the change of scenery being close to home.

Yeah, he's been pretty underwhelming for a few years now. He still plays big minutes and hard minutes, but the results aren't spectacular. And with 8 years left on his deal... ugh. That's not a great bet.

Personally I would target ROR rather than Tarasenko. Kane will return by the deadline. And I'd stay away from Parayko.
