Hornqvist doesn't waive. Compared to the other trades, the Horvat/Schenn is a gross overpayment for the Leafs, especially for position centre that isn't needed.

If I’m Pittsburgh I’ll beat the trade offer for boeser
I’ll give Kapanen to make the $ work then a 1st and a 3rd and basically your choice of our forward prospects like Hallander or poulin or Legare
In that deal Vancouver would have to retain a bit for this year only or else I’d have to send another piece like dumoulin to make the $ work

Hornqvist could be then a acquire for purpose of trade. We get him with another deal lined up to a team he is willing to go to. It is more showing the utilization of cap space.

Bo is 2nd in Goals, his valueation is acurate. A- Prospect, 1st, 2nd and we take on 1.9M in cap space for schenn and bo

Will look to find routes around not having to retain but that is another interesting option. unfortunately you dont have Marino anymore, that would have been a good piece to see coming back

No, Hornqvist has M NTC would have traded by now if the Florida could. He's not going to have any non playoff team or a team with cap space on his trade list. So what if Bo is second in goals six weeks into the season? Let's see what his true value is Is it a 60 point player and a 2nd line centre on middling to poor team, which is usual level of production. But more important, can't Vancouver fans be a little more creative and actually trade Horvat to team that needs the centre? The usual nausem of the same trade to the Leafs.

Canuck fans over valued Milled the last 2 TDL's and now regret it, but haven't learned over valuing your players doesn't equal trades in reality.

I sent him there because it seems like there are just as many leafs that want horvat as there are canucks fans that want him there, this isnt supposed to be WHAT WILL HAPPEN, it is more me shoing what type of moves I would do if I were GM. it is armchair GM afterall. We will see, I think that he might just be on a heater for the time being, but he completely changed his shot and his stick too so maybe this is the new bo

.....and still an easy no for the Avs. No way they are giving up their first for him. He doesn't have that value after a handful of NHL games so I doubt anyone else will either.
