I mean if he was guaranteed to re-sign they might do it, but he's going to want money since he's got a cup. Plus, they gotta take on around $3M in cap for another year.

Kane will return and when he does Edmonton doesn't have the cap space to fit Tarasenko in.

Blues can get more for Tarasenko. Foegele doesn't do anything for us and wastes 2.7 mil cap space next year. We can get a better package closer to the deadline

It would take the 2nd round pick alone to move Foegele, So it's basically Tarasenko @ $3,750,000 for a 1st round pick. Sorry but that's not even close enough.
