I think we would accept that. Olofsson could be a great winger for Mcdavid and Draisaitl. Haven't heard much about him this year though, hows his shot been like after last years injury?

Maybe, although I'm not thrilled with Olofsson and his efforts this season. I can't say anything about Puljujarvi's defensive performance, the metrics show he's good at that. After reading the Edmonton fan board on another site, Puljujiarvi's problem seems to be psychological, I think Granato could help with that.
Buffalo's first GM said, you never trade goals!
Olofsson is on pace to 40 goals with Mittelstadt, Cozens or Krebs as his center (about 70% of the time).
Only four NHL LW's have more goals than he.
Put him on wing with Connor or Leon as his center
he may reach 50.
Puljujärvi, Wanner, and 2023 3rd round pick (EDM) is woefully insufficient.
While Foegele and Mcleod have been Jesse's primary line-mates, he has played many minutes with McDavid, Hopkins and Kane.
A player with one goal in 17 games and a $3,000,000 cap hit does bring value to the trade.
Wanner, has shown promise but it is too early to make him the center piece of the trade.
Victor is a proven goal score with a first class wrist shot, make it a first instead of a third, for the Sabres to consider taking a long shot prospect and $3,000,000 of cap, while retaining on Victor
@Fjordy "His shot is still good, especially since he showed it last season after he healed the injury."
Victor is worth a first, Puljujärvi adds nothing to the trade and may actually have negative value while Wanner is a 7th round pick who MAY become an NHL defenseman.
