Janis who?

Elite Prospects thinks he's pretty good but he's pretty small (6'0" 172lbs) to be taking big mean Muzzin's spot.

Haha yeah he definitely plays a different game! But hes very solid and reliable defensively. He's averaging like 24min TOI and playing against all the top lines in the NHL this year. He's also still in his ELC for 2 years I believe, so cap savings on top of the skills he has.

I really like this kid, but this is definitely too high a price to pay. I can't see ARI wanting to move him, but max I'd pay is the third and Hiroven, plus a cap dump like Kerfoot going back.

I watch him play every game and he is better than Chychrun. Running the power play this year and a terrific defenseman. He's worth the proposal and even more.

The way you could look at it... What would you expect for someone to aquire Sandin (when he was 1 year in) and everyone was hyped for his potential?...now imagine if at that time Sandin was running the whole teams defense, pk , pp, covering the top lines, playing anywhere from 22-27minutes a night...what would you have expected then?

That's this kid, that's why you gladly pay the 1st.

Heck I would even say Sandin plus a 2nd(or even 1st) for him...he's seriously that talented

this is why I don't think ARI would be willing to move him. Sample size scares me a bit, and you're probably right.
