I just hate when people think they can put their obvious cap dumps into a trade without paying for them. That's not how it works. Can maybe slip dumo in for free since his deal expires this season but a rebuilding team isn't taking on Carter and mcginn for free just cus pit needs the cap space.

For the both of you Kane helps on pp on having a right handed shot. Towels work for draws and having him play with rust will work for offense and defense. Now pens can use rust on pk since Kane took his spot in top 6 mins and pp mins. Why it works for Blackhawks next 2 years they have 3 first and 3 seconds plus. Why plus ... One dumo should be trade able at trade dead line even it is 3rd also free up other players what they can get 2nd and 3rds for. Also on pens side if the cap does go up next year that will make 20m in cap space that is a lot cap money to work with.

Also trading 21m in cap you have to take back cap to even hit the floor.

With the Kane and toews retention they'll be above the cap floor already so no they aren't taking back cap dumps for free

Personally I wouldn't touch this trade. I don't think Kane makes us a real contender and it isn't worth waging our future for him

It doesn't work for the Hawks. You can't just send cap dumps and expect not to pay the other team for them. Those draft picks MAY get you Kane + Toews, although it's a bit shy honestly...then you just include a bunch of cap dumps for free? Not happening

If chi is looking to trade AA and Domi at trade deadline. They will need take back players 1) fill out roster 2) even if they pay 50% of Kane and towes salary then trade AA and Domi witch have less value then the 3 penguins what have no value. That is close to 18m what puts them under cap. But the 1st call up should put them above it.

Now what do you think is Domi and AA value? Are they non trade able at deadline or 4th or 3rd 2nd then look at stats at the pens
