But that other know-it-all CF user told me "Not going to happen, Shattenkirk has made it abundantly clear in the past. That he won't play in Canada. he's one of many Americans that has no desire to play in Canada."

Maybe for other places in Canada he was vocal about it but looks like Pierre just cleared the dust with Toronto. I honestly wouldn't mind him considering he could be cheap to get

We are also fairly decimated on Defense, so I don't think the asking price will be THAT cheap.

Yeah, we are, but if we trade out Shattenkirk now, and presumably Klingberg in January, we are going to be left with Fowler, Kulikov, and the AHL squad to finish out the year on defense.

Now vs TDL is going to make a big difference at not killing our goalies.

Exactly. I don't know better than anyone, so I don't pretend to know what players do with their NMCs, unlike others.
