Karlsson would be fun, but that is far too much.

Don't think SJ can take on that many 50 man contracts too

Sabres don't need another skilled D, especially not at that price/contract. They need a seasoned/physical LHD to play in Bryson's spot and help on PK.

BUF needs to resist the temptation to adding a big name older guy, it isn’t time just yet to start unloading valuable young pieces for expensive old ones.

No way! We do not need EK and this package is huge. We need a top 4 RD who is good at defense and preferably won't make more than 5m a year. It's definitely not Karlsson.

Well there goes our prospect depth that we spent 3 years working on. No thanks. Only way Karlsson would make any sense for Buffalo is if there is at least 3 mil retained, their are picks conditional on him staying healthy, and we aren't giving up the equivalent of 3 1sts (Krebs, Ostlund, 2nd+Cederqvist)
