I think an A-/B+ prospect is too much of a sweetener though if Montreal retains a little salary (20-25%) I can see Calgary doing it. Montreal would have to take Lucic in return to make the money work but that's not a problem since he has less than $1 mil left to be paid before his contract expires.

Of course it depends on what you consider an A-/B+ prospect to be. I consider an A prospect to be a prospect worth a 1st round pick, a B prospect to be worth a 2nd. So an A- would be worth an early 2nd maybe a very late first and B+ worth a mid to high 2nd.

Yeah I also think it's too much but Its could be the result of multiple team in Derby for Anderson.

Calgary could use is physical playstyle and Oiler are looking to add the same because of E.Kane who is out for 2 to 3 month again.


Is valued would also depend on how many player are available and for what. If less available it's valued would probably go higher and if there alot of player available is value would probably lower a bit.
