Chicago declines. They'll want at least a 1st and a good young player or prospect not a bunch of older players who don't fit the timeline for their rebuild. Chicago would be willing to retain 50% and/or take on an expiring contract or two like Craig Smith's but not Charlie Coyle's 5.25 mil for 4 years. Taking on players making 3+ mil on contracts that don't expire until 2024 or later costs extra.

Edit: For Kane alone that is!

And have you been following Chicago? Apparently not, they aren't doing a full on rebuild. And Coyle and Grizz aren't old and fill a need. Move along!

Like others I'm just winging trade ideas, people need to RELAX and just move along instead of opening their mouths.

Sure that must be why they traded away all their top young players for draft picks already. o.O

If they are doing a full on rebuild WHY would they trade Young players? They would keep any young player.

They still need to meet the salary cap floor. Go look at other rebuilding teams like Anaheim, like Arizona...they all take on some salary not just for the added picks but to meet the salary cap floor. And once again Chicago isn't doing a full on rebuild or they would have announced as such like the Rangers did.
