Instead of going for the big fish, the Sabres could be better off trying someone steady, and cheaper to acquire, like Connor Murphy, to pair with Owen Power. It depends, I think, on how much faith they have in Jokiharju as a top pair defender, as Murphy would be a 2nd pair.

Also read somewhere, maybe the spectors rumor pages, don't quote me on it, but Dante Fabbro may be available for the right price from Nashville?
