I've said it before and I'll said it again and again until I'm blue in the face, NSH is not trading Fabbro without a great offer coming back that includes at least 1 quality RD.

That package doesn't get you Kaner. The 2023 1st is a good foundation. But none of those other pieces are attractive for the Hawks. Protas is a nice player, but not the type or style of player the Hawks are trying to build around. Eller is simply a cap balance piece. No value to a rebuilding Hawks team. Don't know enough about Caps prospect pool to make an informed suggestion on how to fix this trade.
