What Id do

Description
Time to rebuild. The worst place to be is in the middle. They aren't going to win a cup or do any serious damage at their current trajectory in the next few years.
Play this roster out for the rest of the year and then try and move J.T Miller and Myers in the offseason.

Thoughts on the idea?

Bruins easily pass. If bruins move a 1st it will be for someone with the mobility to play C aswell.

And even if they were to move a 1st for a winger it would be for one that has a play style like Crouse/ Anderson/ Jeannot

Don't see DAL trading Dellandrea at this stage.

In general we don't really need centers.

DAL could have use for Boeser, provided the price is friendly.

Pretty much zero chance schenn gets two 3rds; not a position of priority for us & he’d be our 7/8th dman so I have no idea why you think the Leafs would do that 🤷

Pretty sure then Schenn is better than Holl, Liljegren, Hollowell, Benn, and Timmins. Which is your entire right side right now. Schenn is arguably better than Ben Chiarot who got a 1st a prospect and a 4th.

🤣🤣🤣. Canuckle fans never fail to entertain “ our team & team defense sucks, your team & team defense is way better but our individual players are better than yours”… really too much. Keep dreaming pal 😅 ; if we traded for him. Schenn sits with Benn once playoffs start so 2x3rds is too much for emergency replacement.

Holl has been playing number 1 minutes for many many many games for a team that gives up very few goals and hasn't been losing. Us Leaf fans are all eating our own words on him right now. He is proving us all brutally wrong. Lily is very good also.

When Healthy Brodie, Holl, Lily would be our 3 right D. Schenn would fall as number 4. But he would be put in when we needed size and toughness. Brodie can be shifted to the Left if needed, if a guy like Sandin is struggling. Schenn would be in our 6-7 slot for sure.

I don't think he gets the Chiarot package but I do like Schenn and can see the fit with the Leafs.

I think the truth is in the middle.
We are talking about Holl, Benn, Liljegren, Brody, and Timmons. Holl was awful to start the year but has since looked great! Benn will probably sit when healthy and be the next guy up. We aren't talking enough about Liljegren because I think that he's been great this year! Brody makes it. Timmons hasn't even played yet so we shall see. In my mind then, it's schenn or Holl who plays. Or, you could flip Brody to the left in case of an injury
