Crazy to think with that lineup, there's still 22mil in cap space.

I feel like the Smashville deal would be pretty close just being players for players, not really a need for the 2nd but what do I know

You add a lot in the NSH deal. They decline. Even if you get Fabbro, giving him that much money for that long is a bad idea.

I didn’t examine everything but why a bridge deal for Power? That seems excessively unlikely.

I think Krebs would have to suddenly start producing at a level where BUF doesn't consider trading him, for NSH to entertain that. Currently, that 2nd two years from now is the most desirable piece from BUF, and it's not enough to be the best piece in a trade for either player NSH is shipping out here.

Yeah, you'd have to add to that Nashville deal. I doubt this team will be the best. I don't know about you but I see it as a WC1 in the east with the likely full-on emergence of the Red Wings next season.
This is where I'm going to dive a bit far ahead and guess that Atlantic may look like Red Wings #1, Tampa #2 and Toronto #3 next season. But who knows, this could surprise people like me.

I agree with what you're saying about next year, but this squad is 2 years from now. Just considering a full season of development for Fantilli, plus another year of development for like 8 guys lol.

How the hell did you keep Bryson and Fitzgerald in the lineup? They are awful.

This is why there is so much cap space, none of the dollar amounts make sense. Dahlin is getting long term and $10m+ easily, Power will sign 6 years or so for $8m+, Cozens will get close to $7m, and no way asplund, okposo and girgensons are taking $900k contracts with $22m of space. I dont think there will be any hometown discounts.
