Johnson isn’t a center, and at this point it doesn’t look like Columbus plans on trying him at center, even with how bad Roslovic is at faceoffs or when he gets thrown out Nyquist is taking the draws.

Would be solid and very beneficial for your young studs in Johnson-sillinger-Chinakov to learn from Gaudreau and laine.

Johnson is more of playmaking passer so he should get the shooter in laine and sillinger has a wicked shot so he needs the playmaker in Gaudreau.

I have to agree. I think for a short time splitting Johnny and laine is the right thing to do. Give them different players to find chemistry with. Let the young guys have a “superstar” to play with consistently.

I would still like to see him at least get a shot at Center. If it doesn't work that's fine, but lets give it a try.

That’s fine to give him a try, but his play style is more of a wing, and honestly with his offensive creativity I wouldn’t want to force him to play v we launch the ball into the dark bench. That should be a red card. No no put that one away and took out a player and then that should be a red card. I’m sorry the defensive responsibly that comes with playing center.
