Canes aren't moving Freddie. If they're going to move a goalie, I'd imagine it's Raanta. I doubt they move either though because Kochetkov is waiver exempt.

Northeastern isn't having a great year, there D is very young. They could miss the playoffs. Levi is here by the end of this year.

Was under the impression Kochetkov/Raanta were the tandem and Freddie was the odd man out. Raanta and Anderson are both 33, on expiring deals, and often injured so I don't think BUF would offer too much more than a 2nd Rounder for either of them. Lots of teams will be looking for goaltending help toward the deadline so maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe shoot for Gibson or Elvis, Anaheim and Columbus are gonna be sellers unlike Carolina and I don't see VAN trading Demko. He's good and young on a good deal, unless the return is crazy for them.

Canes wouldn't move Freddie or Raanta unless it was an affordable upgrade. Now seeing that they are both on expiring contracts, I could see a trade for someone with term, or worse case, a better more healthy rental who can stay strong down the stretch. It's possible.
